Description
Vitamin E Tocopherol
is an anti-oxidant that, when applied to the skin topically via an appropriate cream or lotion, protects the skin from the damaging effects from free radical activity.
We sell natural vitamin e in powder form (link). We also provide the oil based version containing 70% natural tocopherols here.(View the specification sheet in the technical documents tab) Please note that there are many sellers online offering products that are actually just generic oils with some vitamin e added. One product that is described as Vitamin E Oil contains just 0.15% Tocopherols. Such products are retailed at lower prices but cheap is not good value.
INCI: Tocopherol
Appearance: Viscous brown liquid
Usage: Up to 0.7%. Add at cool down to creams, lotions, and appropriate carriers.
May also be added to any products containing oils to prevent oxidation and thereby lengthen the shelf life of the product.
Warning: Do not apply this product neat to the skin. It must be employed at the correct usage rate in a suitable cream or lotion
