Ellagic Acid 90% is a polyphenolic compound extracted from Punica granatum (Pomegranate) fruit rinds that enhances the levels of antioxidant enzymes, as well as providing skin lightening effects, UV protection, anti-inflammatory action and wound healing effects. Ellagic acid stimulates skin cell regeneration to promote a more youthful complexion.

The extract can be incorporated in a wide range of skin care products – creams, toners, serums, etc. Ellagic acid is not harmed when exposed to high temperatures for short periods so we would suggest adding pomegranate extract to the heated phase of hot process products such as creams and lotions.

Recommended usage rate. 0.25% – 2%
