Shipping & Returns Policy

At The Formulary, we aim to make your experience as smooth and reliable as possible — from placing your order to receiving your products.


Shipping

Processing Times

Orders are usually processed within 1–2 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding bank holidays).
Orders placed after 2pm may be processed the next working day.

Delivery

All orders are sent using a fully tracked delivery service, so you can follow your parcel every step of the way.

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number by email.

Estimated delivery times:

  • UK: 1–3 working days after dispatch

While we do our best to meet these times, delays can occasionally occur due to factors outside our control.

Delivery Confirmation

To ensure safe delivery, our courier may use tracking scans, GPS confirmation, and, in some cases, a delivery photograph.

If your tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you can’t locate it, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help investigate.

Address Accuracy

Please double-check your delivery address at checkout.
We’re unable to take responsibility for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided at the time of purchase.


Returns

30-Day Returns

We offer a 30-day returns policy from the date your order is delivered.

If you’re not completely satisfied, you’re welcome to return your item provided it is:

  • Unused
  • In its original condition
  • In original packaging where possible

How to Arrange a Return

Simply contact us with your order number, and we’ll guide you through the process.

Return Postage

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect
  • We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or sent in error.


Faulty or Incorrect Items

If something isn’t right, please let us know within 14 days of delivery.

We’ll make it right by offering:

  • A replacement, or
  • A full refund

We’ll also cover reasonable return postage costs where applicable.


Hygiene & Safety

Due to the nature of cosmetic and skincare ingredients, we’re unable to accept returns of opened or used products unless they are faulty.

This helps us maintain product safety and quality for all customers.
